This mosque is one of the oldest monuments in the city, which was built at the end of the sixteenth century, specifically between the years 1592-1598, and contains a central dome supported by eight columns and small domes around it, and it is surrounded by an open-air courtyard, and there are also two small fountains used for ablution before prayer, and contains one minaret with one balcony as well, and the mosque was restored several times during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and therefore the influence of European decorative elements can be seen, especially on the heads of columns, window frames, external walls and on the mihrab as well.
