Historical Coal Gas Factory Cultural Center

The historic coal gas plant, one of the symbolic buildings of Izmir, has been transformed into one of the important cultural centers of the city, with the restoration work carried out by the municipality. An open area of 23 thousand and 250 square meters, and the giant chimney was reinforced, so that the building turns today into a performance hall and a theater in which many distinguished cultural and artistic celebrations are held, which attract visitors and spectators from all over the country.
