Holy Temple of Dormition of the Virgin Mary

The Church of the Assumption of the Holy Virgin was built over the remains of the ancient Greek temple of Apollo, and it is one of the oldest churches in the city of Kalabaka, as its construction dates back to the first centuries AD. The church is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and still receives its visitors to see the various architecture that entered the building through the ages, religious icons, and religious paintings.
