Homer Tunnel

1.2 km long tunnel that cuts its way through solid rock and took 19 years to build from the beginning of 1954 AD. The road to Milford was very difficult, and this tunnel was the magic solution for easy access to it. Although the Homer Tunnel is wide enough for a bus and a small car, there are traffic lights that operate during the busy summer months to keep order and safety. The view of entering and leaving it is truly amazing. When you enter, you will be amazed by this engineering marvel, and when you leave, you will be dazzled by the beauty of the nature surrounding you!
