Indo Portuguese Museum

museum in Kochi that includes exhibits and artifacts that show the Portuguese influence on art and culture in the region. The museum was established with the efforts of the late Dr. Joseph Kureethra, who was the bishop of the city. The museum contains many sections, including a section that shows the religious influence in which visitors will find altars and crosses from the sixteenth century, and a section that shows the artistic influence in which visitors will find paintings and statues, and a crafts section in which visitors will find some crafts that the Indian population made from the Portuguese.
