International Antarctic Centre

Located on the International Programs Campus at Christchurch Airport, the International Antarctic Center shows all visitors from all over the world why Christchurch is seen as the gateway to Antarctica. It was opened in 1992 AD, at the site where the research programs of New Zealand, the United States of America and the Italian Arctic were in full swing, and it has since turned into one of the best tourist attractions in the city.
