Description of the place
The Modern International Mountain Museum was established in 1995 AD by the Nepal Mountaineering Association, in order to preserve and document the record and history of local mountain climbing. It was designed to contain several sections dedicated to highlighting the achievements of famous mountaineers in the majestic Himalayas and around the world. From the original tools and equipment that were used to climb the mountain peaks; In addition, it houses exhibitions that revolve around the history, local culture, geology, flora and fauna of the Himalayas.
