Intramuros

It is the historic walled area, the oldest district in Manila, and what remains of the fortified city, which was the seat of power during the Spanish colonial era, and was also the center of religion, education and the economy. This region is considered the place from which the Philippines originated. Its ancient buildings tell of the designs established by the Spaniards during their rule of the region. The place contains a restaurant and a coffee shop, in addition to the tour guides.
