The place was opened in 2007 on the site of a former linen mill, to commemorate the struggle of the Irish masses during the war that tore Ireland from the United Kingdom between 1968 – 1998, and in honor of all the victims who died in it, by presenting the news and articles issued at that time and explaining the hunger strike they carried out, in addition to presenting photos, art pieces, archives, weapons, army uniforms, and others.
