Izmir Mask Museum

The Izmir Museum of Masks, in a historical building built according to the Levantine culture, was opened in 2011 AD, as the first mask museum in Turkey. The museum contains a large collection of more than 300 pieces in five different categories, ritual masks, theater masks, Anatolian masks, death masks, and followers. Mask workshops are organized at the museum, which enable children and youth to express themselves through art and develop their skills.
