Jabal Al Nour

Jabal al-Nour is located to the northeast of the Grand Mosque. It overlooks the path of justice. It was named by this name because the lights of prophecy appeared in it, as the Prophet used to be alone in it to worship God before the mission in Hira Cave. The height of this mountain is 642 meters, and it descends steeply from 380 meters until it reaches the level of 500 meters, then it continues to decline in the form of a right angle until the top of the mountain. Its area is five kilometers and 250 square meters. This mountain provides a wonderful view of the city of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and its buildings.
