Jahra Pools Nature Reserve

The Jahra Nature Reserve is a fenced nature reserve managed by the Environment Public Authority. It consists of a wastewater estuary with water basins surrounded by reeds and sabkhas. It is the only area of non-marine wetlands in the country, which is man-made and includes a group of plants Scattered throughout, this area represents one of the richest small wetlands in Kuwait, and is one of the best areas for studying birds.
