Kalıçık Castle, known locally as Kalıçık Kaleici, is located on the edge of a plateau in the Kura River valley, south of the village of the same name, in the Ardahan Province of Turkey, and due to its resemblance to other castles in the region and its location, it is believed that it may date back to the Urartian period (860-590). BC), with a distinctive architectural design, including fortified walls and towering ceilings. Nowadays, the ruins of Kalıçık Castle consist mostly of a long wall, a gate, and the remains of towers that cut through the corner of the hill on which it lies.
