Karakaya Village

The village of Karakaya is located in the town of Gumusluk, and its history goes back 800 years, and therefore it is considered one of the most important monuments in the city of Bodrum and in Turkey as a whole. This village was built on rocks to escape pirate attacks in the last century, and it included about 35 families. Although it looks like an abandoned village with stone houses, it will impress you with its scenery and history.
