Katara Mosque

The Katara Mosque is considered the most beautiful mosque and mosque in Qatar, designed by the internationally known Turkish mosque designer Zeynep Fadil Oglu, Katara Mosque " Al-Kabeer”, its decorations were implemented by a number of restoration specialists who came from the Dolmabahce Palace in Istanbul. It is distinguished by its exterior surface inlaid with turquoise and violet mosaics, and by its wonderful interior design, which gave its corridors and facilities more splendor, beauty, spaciousness, and breadth. The mosque’s external and internal architectural designs, in addition to the minaret, the dome, and the mihrab All of them are inspired by many Islamic mosques that were famous for the metropolises, cities, and capitals of different Islamic countries, in addition to the artistic handicrafts that abound in the mosque, such as lines, decorations, inscriptions, and mosaics.​
