The majestic Kaysersberg Town Hall was built in 1604 by the carpenter Dominique Haecher to serve as the residence and administrative center for the imperial bailiff (the direct representative of the Emperor in the Kaysersberg region). It is built of sandstone and is an example of Renaissance architecture in the region. Rhine River, and the large building consists of two floors, and the first contains the council room with ornate ceiling and beautiful antique doors.
