Khao Chi Chan

Kao Chi Chan, also known as Buddha Mountain, is one of the most famous landmarks of Pattaya, as it features a giant image of Buddha carved on the giant cliff. This image was created in 1995 as an initiative of the then Supreme Patriarch who felt it was a waste to leave this marble mountain without Exploitation, and in order to honor His Majesty King Bhumibol on the occasion of his Golden Jubilee. The surrounding area is characterized by a special natural beauty, and other facilities have spread around the mountain to provide various tourist services to visitors.
