King Hussein Mosque
The King Hussein Bin Talal Mosque, commonly known as the King Hussein Mosque, is the largest mosque in Jordan. It is a mixture of modernity and originality represented in prominent Islamic inscriptions on the walls, arches, and floors, to recall the Hashemite interest in architecture and art. The mosque was built in 2005 AD during the reign of King Abdullah II in western Amman.
