Kocaeli Science Center

The master plan of the Kocaeli Science Center was a software test, construction strategy, and demonstration of the reuse of the Sika Paper Factory as a science center, historical museum complex, and cultural center. The Scientific and Research Council of Turkey started a partnership with the Kocaeli Municipality to complete this project. Science Centre, with a special exhibit focusing on the history of the mill and the science behind papermaking, as well as a theatre, souvenir shop, and café. Today, the Science Center aims to make science and technology understandable and accessible to the community, and includes experimental and hands-on activities to encourage visitors to experiment and discover.
