Description of the place
Kurtbaz Dam is located in the north of the city of Ankara, feeding many neighborhoods and rural areas far from the city center. It is a huge dam that was established between the years (1963-1967 AD), and feeds the streams of Bahti, Mira, Kinik and Izmir. The natural area surrounding the dam includes a picnic area, a swimming pool and a restaurant, and is suitable for water sports.
