Description of the place
Lake Qaraoun is an artificial lake in the Bekaa Valley, formed due to a dam that was built to provide electricity and an irrigation system for the surrounding area, with a height of 61 meters. It is not allowed to swim in the lake, but many visitors go to it to take boat tours inside it, fishing, and also enjoy the beautiful scenery while sitting. In a restaurant on the west side of it.
