Description of the place
Lake Stause, which is also called "Eiselsee", is located below the picturesque village of Arosa, and it has existed since 1897. It is surrounded by a wall of about 12 meters high. Despite its beauty and stunning views, it is forbidden to swim in it, and only fishing is allowed and from designated areas for that. It is especially famous among those looking for a quiet place to sit or even lie down and listen to the relaxing sounds of nature.
