Description of the place
The Las Playas Natural Monument protects one of the most amazing landscapes on the island of El Hierro, and includes a great cliff in the form of a huge amphitheater formed by a series of landslides that shook the southeastern coast of the island. It is nine kilometers long and more than a thousand meters high, and there is the famous Bonanza rock. It is a stunning volcanic outcrop that juts out from the sea.
