Lausanne Historical Museum

The city of Lausanne has a long and ancient history full of important events and stations, and the Lausanne Historical Museum came to display it and highlight the most important forums in it. It is an old and important museum, and it is considered one of the most important tourist attractions in the city. It was completely renovated in 2018 AD, and it presents a famous model for the city in the year 1638 AD. Here the historical exhibition is organized annually in 11 sections to understand the transformations of this very special region, from water to mobility, from leisure to housing, and from the Middle Ages to the Age of Enlightenment. The museum has a staff of guides who speak French, English, German and Chinese.
