Leca Swimming Pools

Established in 1966 by Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza, the Lisa pool complex is internationally recognized and a popular haven for locals and tourists alike. The pools have established themselves as one of Siza's greatest innovative works and an example of his exacting compatibility Between nature and modern design. The complex consists of changing rooms, a café and two swimming pools, one for adults and one for children, and is located between the Atlantic Ocean and the road that follows the coast, but is almost completely out of sight.
