Les Salins D'Hyères

The Hyères Salt Marsh is a wetland of international importance and is one of the most beautiful natural areas on the Var coast. It is important for the development of biodiversity, as it provides a range of habitats that are home to more than 200 species of birds and 300 species of plants. This area also includes a center that allows visitors to discover the rich natural and cultural heritage of salt production at the site through a range of temporary and permanent exhibitions, bird models and other educational tools.
