Description of the place
The Lisbon Military Museum is the oldest museum in the city. It was founded in 1876 AD. It is located in a Baroque building and its holdings are distributed over 34 large rooms. Its ceiling is decorated with drawings and artistic motifs drawn by famous artists. This museum is home to a large collection of cannons, chariots, shields and wall paintings depicting Portuguese battles.
