Mahabodhi Temple
The Mahabodhi Temple complex is one of the four sacred sites related to the life of Lord Buddha. The temple was built by Emperor Asoka in the third century BC, and it is thus one of the oldest Buddhist temples built entirely of bricks in the country, which was characterized by a different architectural design, with tall towers and spacious internal and external courtyards designated for prayers!
