Mar Lichaa monastery

The Monastery of Mar Elisha is located at the beginning of the Qadisha Valley, and it is one of the ancient monasteries built in the rocks and among the mountains. It is famous and distinguished because of the small churches that appeared among the rocks. This monastery has been home to Christian monastic communities for centuries, and it has received many priests who chose to flee their lives to pray and lived their whole lives in it.
