Description of the place
Northwest of the pretty village of Marga, Margarana Memorial Park is a sprawling memorial complex that includes an impressive museum, military cemetery and botanical garden. It is one of the most important historical monuments in Indonesia, where the role that Bali played during the Battle of Poputan Margarana in Indonesia's struggle for independence is celebrated.
