Masjid IJABA

The historical Answer Mosque is located to the north of the Prophet’s Noble Mosque. It was built by Banu Muawiyah bin Malik bin Awf Al-Awsion, and it was named after the incident of the Prophet’s supplication, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, after he prayed in it and called on God Almighty, so God answered him and prevented him from only one supplication. It is also known as the Mubahala Mosque, because it witnessed the meeting of the Prophet with a delegation of Christians from Najran. This mosque was renovated during the era of Omar bin Abdul Aziz, and renovated in the nineteenth century AD, and then expanded during the reign of King Fahd, may God have mercy on him.
