One of the most important historical monuments in the Canary Archipelago is the Maspalomas Lighthouse, a prominent lighthouse from the 1890s, around which there are many great attractions, a popular place to watch the sunset, a beach, shops and restaurants nearby, it was built near the site where the cruise landed Fourth Christopher Columbus on his way to the discovery of the New World.
