Description of the place
Al-Mashoukiye Waterfall is located in the Al-Mashoukiye district in Kocaeli, about 120 km from Istanbul. It is an old man-made waterfall, but it looks as if it was natural. There are many wonderful picnic spots around the waterfall and some restaurants surrounded by tall trees and dense vegetation. They are ideal places to eat fresh trout, and a visit to this waterfall is an ideal option to sit on a high platform and rest your eyes and mind while the water flows calmly beside you.
