Description of the place
The Sports Bridge - or what is known as the Wooden Bridge or the Queen's Bridge - is a pedestrian bridge located on the Cam River, and it is famous for being built of straight timber, although it is curved in shape; Which makes it a unique historical architectural masterpiece of its kind in the world. It was designed by architect William Etheridge in 1748, and built by James Essex in 1749.
