Medinet Habu
Medinet Habu Temple is one of the largest memorial temples in Egypt, measuring 320 meters in length (from east to west) and about 200 meters in width (from north to south). After the death of Ramses III, the temple was built to commemorate his memory, as the huge structure is surrounded by a mud wall. This building consists of a huge gate and is decorated with battle scenes depicting the king's wars in Syria, and to the right is a mausoleum dating back to the Eighteenth Dynasty. There is also a wide open court leading to two massive towers, both towers decorated in battle scenes. Do not hesitate and visit it with your family and friends and enjoy learning about the ancient and rich Egyptian history.
