Mehmet Akif Ersoy Home Museum

The Mehmet Akif Ersoy House Museum is located in the Cankaya district of Ankara, and it is the house in which Mehmet Akif Ersoy resided during the years of the Turkish War of Independence, and then it was converted into a museum that includes many of his poems, especially the national anthem. Among the works displayed in the museum: the pocket watch, glasses, the rosary, the gun, and the mold of the face of the great poet Mehmet Shakif Ersoy in the museum house. In the outer garden of the house there are many stone memorials on which the most important sayings of the poet are engraved.
