Mehmetçik Monument

The monument of Mehmet Cik is one of the important archaeological and historical symbols of the Sakarya War, and the great victory achieved by the Turks led by Mehmetçik. In honor of his efforts, it was decided to erect this distinguished monument, which has a height of 22 meters and a total height of 32 meters with its base. There are eight distinct inscriptions adorning the base, with important memorial meanings, where Muhammad stands erect, offering his military salute to the people.
