Description of the place
The Allegiance Mosque was built in the year 144 AH by the Abbasid caliph Abu Jaafar al-Mansur, in the same place where the first allegiance in Islam took place, "the first allegiance of Aqaba", where the Messenger (may God bless him and grant him peace) pledged allegiance to 12 people from the tribes of Aws and Khazraj to unite God and not Polytheism and abstaining from theft, adultery and disobedience, Islam began to spread in the homes of the city.
