Description of the place
The Mimar Sinan Monument is a statue weighing 7 tons and 4.30 meters high. It is located in the garden of the Faculty of Language, History and Geography in the city of Ankara. It is a work depicting the famous architect Mimar Sinan, who lived between 1490 AD and 1588 AD, with his unique clothes and distinctive movements that reflect his humility despite his great fame. And this monument was created based on Atatürk's wish.
