Description of the place
Monkey Beach is located on the southwestern side of Tonsai Bay, about 700 meters from the jetty in Krabi. It is simply a stunning 150-meter strip of soft white sand surrounded by emerald water. The back of the beach is a stone cliff. The steep limestone is covered with lush vegetation that provides the monkeys with a comfortable home, hence the beach getting its name.
