Monument to the 50 Hostages
The Monument to the 50 Hostages was inaugurated in Nantes on October 22, 1952. It overlooks the Ardre River and the Square of the 50 Hostages. It consists of an obelisk 13.50 meters high, designed by architect Marcel Fradin and sculptor Jean Mazuet, and includes five Huge spears symbolize resistance.
