Mount Kamel Meteor Protectorate
The Gebel Kamel Meteorite Reserve, which is located on the eastern side of the New Valley Governorate in Egypt, was classified as a natural protected area around 2012, and it was discovered during 2010 when a team of Egyptians and Italians went on a geological expedition to explore the area and found one of the largest holes on Earth. With a depth of 16 meters, which indicates that a giant meteorite hit the Earth thousands of years ago. The reserve has hosted many tourists from all over the world who are interested in learning more about the meteorite and seeing the massive impact of the ancient collision of an outer space object.
