Mu Ko Lanta National Park

Mu Ko Lanta National Park consists of several islands covering 134 square kilometres. It was established in 1990 as a marine park. It is located in the southern part of Krabi Province and mainly consists of rugged hills covered with rainforest of 20 square kilometres, and beach forests along the lines. coastal areas of Ko Lanta Yai and Ko Ngai, and some of its islands are covered with mangrove forests. This park is a popular dive site for both beginners and professional divers, as it offers the possibility to see some of the exciting tropical marine life found in the Andaman Sea.
