Museum of Enduring Beauty

The Museum of Permanent Beauty is located on the second floor of the People's Museum in Malacca and receives about two thousand visitors every month. It was opened in 1996 AD to document the history of beauty based on different cultures and beliefs, as the pictures and exhibitions reveal the pains and sacrifices that some people endure to achieve their definition of beauty as it is. Recognized by their society and culture as the practice of tattooing the skin, lips stretched in the form of a disc, and the binding of the feet.
