Museum of Natural History

One of the largest non-university museums and research institutions in Austria, this museum, in Vienna, is an important center of excellence in all matters relating to the natural sciences. It is home to more than 30 million objects available to more than 60 scientists, and many guest researchers who conduct basic research on a wide range of topics related to the humanities, earth sciences, and life sciences. Highlights of this natural history museum include a large collection of dinosaur skeletons and meteorites, as well as a large collection of insects from around the world.
