Museum of Underwater Archaeology
This absolutely fascinating museum inside St. Peter's Castle is an attraction worth seeing, even if you have no interest in underwater archaeology. The design of the exhibits is clearly organized, and the dazzling artifacts are complemented by multimedia displays. After the entrance, with its huge collection of jars and blowing workshop that children will find fascinating, you enter the Hall of Rubble Glass, which displays a 16-meter-long ship that sank in AD 1025. The French Tower is home to another remarkable underwater find - the cargo of a classic Greek ship sunk in the fourth century BC. In the Uluburun Wreck Hall of the Chamber and the adjoining treasury room are fossils unearthed from several Bronze Age shipwrecks.
