The Kiev Water Museum is an educational center that occupies one of the buildings of the early central water supply system of the city of Kiev, which was built in the mid-19th century. The museum presents the concept of "water" in the world as the essence of nature, and how man managed to tame it and transform it to his advantage. Moving from hall to hall, one can trace the history of the first water pipelines in the Kremlin, learn about the periods of formation of centralized water supply and sewage systems in Moscow, installations for membrane filtration of drinking water, ultraviolet disinfection units and primary sedimentation tanks with a deodorizing system in treatment facilities, the facades of the historic halls display household items from the 8th and 19th centuries associated with water, and original historical documents from the past.
