The National Museum of Anthropology, formerly known as the Museum of the Philippine People, housing anthropology and archeology, in Manila. It is a government-affiliated cultural, educational, and scientific institution that acquires, documents, and displays scholarly studies and public appreciation of works of art, specimens, and cultural and historical artifacts that represent the cultural heritage and natural history of the Filipino people. The museum includes many artifacts that depict the rise of the Filipino people to the current civilization, in terms of primitive lifestyles to the weapons used in their wars, whether domestic or foreign.
