New Mosque

Contrary to its name, it is not new at all. The new mosque, which is one of the most important distinctive landmarks of the city of Adana, dates back to the year 1724 AD, and today it stands as a witness to the nobility of this country. The mosque was distinguished by a unique design at the time, with a square plan with two rows of five domes, spacious interior spaces, prayer rooms, and arches distributed throughout the mosque building.
