Built in 1850, one of the oldest houses in the city of Akureyri dates back to the 19th century. His fame is due to the writer John Stevenson Noni, in whom he spent his childhood. Noni has authored 12 children's books, translated into 40 different languages. The house is the place The only one that contains a distinctive cartoon of the writer from 1942.
